Members of the International Newspaper Color Quality Club 2014-16 celebrate their success

About 200 members of International Newspaper Color Quality Club, sponsors, supporters and members of star club celebrated their success at the Awards dinner organised by WAN-IFRA on 15 October 2014, Hotel Novotel Amsterdam City.

Vincent Peyrègne, CEO of WAN-IFRA welcomed the new members to the prestigious club. Manfred Werfel, Deputy CEO and Anand Srinivasan, Research Manager of WAN-IFRA made a short presentation about the highlights of INCQC 2014-16 and statistics of participation by world newspapers in the past 20 years of the competition’s history.

Andreas Düspohl from the International Newspaper Museum, Aachen made a thought provoking presentation about the history of reading and writing and the future of these ancient skills of human beings in the advent of modern digital devices.

Ten new members of the Star Club were invited to the stage and presented with the star club trophy and a certificate by Claus Bolza-Schünemann of KBA and Frank Beuleke of Xrite, sponsors of INCQC 2014-16.
