Muller Martini’s new Connex.Mailroom process management system enables processing data in the mailroom more quickly and more reliably, as well as analyzing ig individually.

29.10.2015 – Process reliability is crucial in the mailroom – the Connex.Mailroom process management system gives newspaper publishers and mailshot producers that assurance in the future, too, thanks to state-of-the-art technology. The successor to Muller Martini’s well-known MPC impresses with its extremely high degree of automation, extensive navigation, cutting-edge technology and maximum performance.

Through a database interface with Microsoft Excel, Muller Martini’s Connex.Mailroom enables quick and reliable data processing and the individual analysis of production data in the mailroom during updates.

“Production runs involving several hundred different products and zones are not a rarity any more,” says Andreas Aplien, Product Manager at Muller Martini. “Connex.Mailroom imports and processes those complex data sets extremely quickly and reliably.” The higher degree of automation also means that process steps can be individually automated, with the system automatically performing adjustments while importing data.

An additional option is a database interface for connection to a high-level analysis module (ranging from Crystal Reports to Microsoft Excel). For the purpose of management by numbers, the user can decide independently which data they want to analyze in what way and at what time. Thanks to the Connex.Info monitoring system, the data is available at all times and at any location, and can be easily accessed using a web browser. An extensive and systematic data overview is today key to management by numbers.

Connex.Mailroom stands out, in particular, for its intuitive operating interface, which enables all process to be controlled and visualized. The user can access the desired information within just a few clicks. The interface can be customized to suit the needs of the workplace. The self-explanatory structure of the new control system also means that it is quick and easy to learn.
