16.02.2016 – Dainik Jagran, the world’s most read newspaper with an average of 16.37 million readers per issue, has decided to upgrade their plate production with automation solutions from NELA. 18 NELA Ecobender V in total will be installed on several print sites throughout the country, starting in the first quarter of 2016. The new punch/benders will add to existing capacities, which already contain technology from NELA. The deal was struck at the World Publishing Expo in Hamburg 2015.

The picture shows Mr. Sandeep Gupta, Jagran Prakashan’s Executive Director (left), and NELA’s President Mr. Frank Neumeister (right) sealing the deal with a handshake at WPE 2015.

The fully automatic punching and bending system Ecobender V is especially suited to fill the need of the modern printing industry. Video Control Positioning and the intuitive NELA EcoNet software are some of the main features of the Ecobender V’s market-leading technology. With a high-speed offset-plate output and precision plate-positioning, speed and register accuracy is always ensured.
