Well-known printing houses in Africa are relying on the new manroland web systems’ service

That means comprehensive support, be it consultation on optimal spare and wear parts in original quality, training, classic repair service, upgrade and automation solutions or maintenance of the printing systems. All of that is now covered by the new comprehensive service contracts. Numerous African customers have already made the decision to invest.

The composition of service contracts is in transition at manroland web systems. For the first time the company is providing comprehensive service contracts covering all major service topics for the entire life cycle of the system. Service “Next Generation”. Emphasis is given to the development of unique concepts with automated solutions in the sense of Industry 4.0. For manroland “Next Generation” means increasing the system’s efficiency, thereby reducing total costs for the customer.

Paarl Media (SA), CTP Printers Cape Town (SA), Nation Media PLC (Kenya); these are just a few of the renowned printing houses worldwide who have recently decided on this new service. The new service offering from manroland web systems thus has had a very successful entry into Africa. Not only for older existing presses, but also in line with new investments.

At Paarl Media in South Africa they decided recently to go with a comprehensive service contract running for 3 years for a total of 8 systems (3 x LITHOMAN, 5 x ROTOMAN). The contract covers all maintenance work and revisions, complete support from the TSC (TeleSupportCenter) and orders of wear parts through the manroland web STORE.

A subsidiary of Novus Holdings, Novus Print Solutions, also signed a service contract for a FoldLine. The digital Finishing System will be supported completely for the next 5 years by manroland web systems service professionals.

CTP Printers in Cape Town in South Africa has also opted for a new service contract with manroland web systems. The 32 page LITHOMAN system will receive regular, certified maintenance over the next three years. Also included in the contract is a TSC-flat rate, a flat rate for spare parts, regular presence of a service technician from manroland web systems on site and additional training over the whole period. The aim is to maintain the machine at its highest possible level of performance for years to come.

Nation Media PLC: The successful cooperation between manroland web systems and Nation Media PLC in Kenya was supplemented with a comprehensive service contract in 2016 with a total running time of ten years. The service contract encompasses diverse deliverables ranging from regular, professional maintenance to supplies of spare parts and on to regular process optimizations of the system on-site by manroland web systems as well as the extensive producer-maintenance software MAINSYS. The service contract and the MAINSYS software ensures the future of the COLORMAN e:line system in Nairobi and secures the best of quality and the highest level of economic efficiency for the printing house.
