After several orders for newspaper presses in 2017, manroland web systems announces a first large order for newspaper press lines in 2018

January 23, 2018 – manroland web systems and China National Complete Plant Import & Export Corporation Limited (Complant) signed a contract for in total 9 highly automated Uniset newspaper press lines for the Cuban governmental newspaper Granma. The new equipment is part of a strategic investment project for Cuba. The Uniset presses will be installed in the cities of Havana, Holguin and Santa Clara where they will produce, besides the major Cuban newspaper “Granma”, other newspaper products and books.

This order is a continuation of the recent UNISET press installation and upgrade projects on the Cuban island and the successful co-operations in place since more than thirty years. It proves manroland web systems’ position as THE reliable system and service provider to the web offset industry.
