Launches Physical Footprint in Dubai, Appoints Darren Whyte as General Manager MENA

06 November 2017 – MPP Global, the world’s smartest subscription and billing platform providing enterprises with the freedom to deploy flexible business models that drive recurring revenue streams, today announced the opening of three new offices. Darren Whyte joined the company and will lead the MENA region from the Dubai office as general manager. Before this role since 2003, Whyte sold information and communications technology (ICT) to C-level executives in the region, most recently in a senior sales role with Convergys Corporation. An experienced executive with history in Middle Eastern, African and Indian markets, Whyte is prepared to launch and grow MPP Global’s presence in the MENA market.

“MPP Global’s technology is extremely versatile and will be a valuable asset for content creators in the Middle East interested in monetisation strategies” said Whyte. “The eSuite platform is comprehensive and flexible enough to support a variety of different regions, languages, payment methods and currencies. The opening of the Dubai office ensures we’re providing our global clients with the localised support they need to maximise the potential of the eSuite platform for their businesses.”

The new office in Manchester, U.K. is located in City Tower, an iconic building in the city centre on Piccadilly Plaza. Most of the development team is based in this office and the new space provides MPP Global higher capacity space it needed.

The New York-based, North American team moved to a larger WeWork office in Midtown, on 49th Street between 5th and Madison Avenue to accommodate the growing team. Gina Kang recently joined MPP Global as VP of Marketing and will lead NORAM marketing efforts from this office.

The new office openings come after MPP Global secured a $15M Series B investment, which supports MPP Global goals of expanding into new markets.

“It is an exciting time at MPP Global as we expand our physical footprint around the globe,” said CEO and Co-Founder Paul Johnson. “It is important that as we continue to innovate our eSuite platform that we also provide local service for our clients worldwide. We’ve added several new bright minds to the team this year and these new offices will set up our team and our clients for continued success.”
