MPP Global has been chosen by Jysk Fynske Medier, one of Denmark’s largest media groups, to implement their new digital subscription management solution

Warrington, UK, 26 June 2018 – MPP Global, the technology company that delivers eSuite, the world’s smartest subscription & billing platform, has been chosen by Jysk Fynske Medier, one of Denmark's largest media groups, to implement their new digital subscription management solution.

Established in 2014, Jysk Fynske Medier (JFM) is a group merger between South Denmark Media, Jyske Media and Fynske Media. In 2016, JFM acquired Midtjylland Media and as a result now boasts 13 daily newspapers, 57 weekly newspapers and four radio stations.

With too little of their subscription revenue driven from digital product sales; JFM is looking to grow their number of online subscribers and automate manual processes with an efficient, digital-first subscription and billing management platform.

Henrik Lassen, Head of Subscriptions at JFM, said:
“We were looking for a system that would make us more flexible digitally, as this is an entirely different beast to print. The new solution therefore had to be borne out of the digital world so that we could increase digital turnover; and support us as we launch new digital platforms in the future.”

MPP Global’s eSuite platform was selected in large part for its ability to support digital subscriptions. eSuite offers a comprehensive, single view of customer data across the entire print and digital product portfolio, linked to an eWallet for cohesive cross-sell capability.

Phase One of the project with MPP Global will see JFM re-launch freemium paywalls across their daily newspaper titles, giving them the freedom to launch and experiment with new offers and incentives without technical assistance.

JFM will see process efficiencies with eSuite by virtue of updated self-service capabilities for B2B and B2C subscribers, improving JFM’s online experience whilst reducing dependency on in-house customer care teams. Later phases of the project will focus on retention and recovery automation, increased billing optimisation and implementation of leading payment types in Denmark, such as MobilePay.

Paul Johnson, CEO and Co-Founder of MPP Global, said:
“This project highlights the very real need for publishers across the globe to take their services online, and capitalise on the abundant and growing audience demanding digital access to their favourite publications.

“eSuite is perfectly positioned to take JFM’s digital commerce operation to the next level, giving them the functionality needed to engage their audiences throughout the complete subscriber lifecycle. We are confident that with the eSuite platform and MPP Global’s support, JFM has taken the right step to offer a seamless experience to customers.”
