31st October 2019 – Lineup Systems: Earlier this fall, we released the “A-Z Glossary of Digital Advertising Terms,”* and we were blown away by the response! Many of you downloaded the guide and sent us notes asking for more. Turns out, we can all benefit from a refresher from time to time, especially in an industry that is constantly evolving. In our last guide, we made an effort to keep things simple, using layman’s English to describe the most common (and most commonly misunderstood) industry terms and acronyms. The truth is, some of our definitions were a little too simple, which is why we’re returning with Volume 2: A-Z Glossary of Programmatic Terms.
If you’ve ever been confused by the difference between Programmatic Guaranteed and direct-sold, or if you keep mixing up DSP and SSPs, this guide is for you. Whether it’s a go-to resource you print and reference, or just a quick pop-quiz for your team, we know you’ll appreciate the refresher.
And don’t forget: digital terminology can change on a whim by Google, so it’s important to stay up to date. One easy way? Subscribe to our newsroom. It’s completely free and non-intrusive – just two emails per month with our latest articles.
