Meet with the decision-makers at their working places / creative spaces / newsrooms / think tanks in Berlin and at this exclusive get-together:

At the end of the tour we will arrive in a typical Berlin Factory Loft to dine and meet with representatives of the startups & companies we met during the day.
Of course we will also have a TV for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in the Berlin Factory Loft

Here are the selected Startups & Newsrooms that you'll be visiting:

Die Welt Newsroom (Axel Springer)

Bigger, faster and more focused on the digital offerings. Since the end of 2013 the "Welt" group has moved into its new newsroom at the headquarters of the media group Axel Springer in Berlin. For the first time all departments work together in one room.
With around 120 staff the Newsroom is the centerpiece of Die Welt editorial. Here the journalistic content is planned under the direction of the Editorial Board in close cooperation with the section heads and staff from the video, photo and infographics department and prepared for the different titles.

Microsoft Berlin Accelerator

The historical building in the street Unter den Linden is now a home and meeting place for startups. In their new Berlin Office, Microsoft is building an Accelerator where IT startups can apply in the seed or start-up phase with their ideas around software, cloud, internet or mobile. Unlike many other accelerators Microsoft requires no shares in the company to participate in the Accelerator programme and helps the participating startups organise a Demoday at the end for investors, business angels and industry partners from different sectors.

Krautreporter

Krautreporter is a journalism crowdfunding platform for German speaking countries. One of the hottest startups in journalism right now, Krautreporter provides journalists such as print reporters, photographers, documentary filmmakers or podcasters with access to financial support to research and publish a story. Journalism crowdfunding allows stories to be covered that are important, but not possible to finance in traditional ways. Perhaps a news publisher simply has no more money in the budget - in which case Krautreporter enables volunteers to make small donations that pay for reports, research and travel, features, photos or movies.

Startupbootcamp Berlin

Founded in 2010, Startupbootcamp is Europe's leading startup accelerator with a mentor and alumni network from 30+ countries across the globe. The program offers startups access to world-class industry expertise during an intensive three-month program. At the end of the program, startups pitch at Demo Day to more than 150 investors.
Startupbootcamp Berlin is located at the Rainmaking Loft Berlin, a workspace for high-profile tech startups in the heart of Berlin. Also being Europe’s growing creative tech-hub, the city attracts the best talent, mentors, venture capitalists, and business angels from all around the world.

Die Zeit

Die Zeit has a circulation of just over 500,000. It is the most read weekly newspaper in Germany with a circulation of over 2 million. Circulation has been increasing recently as the newspaper has altered their writing style to appeal to a new audience. In 2013, the newspaper finally added a sports page for its readers. Despite winning numerous World’s Best-Designed Newspaper awards, Die Zeit does not rest on its laurels. The staff attack each issue and each topic with fresh ideas.
Zeit Online is aimed at a younger readership. The news reports, analysis and background reports are written, spoken or filmed exclusively for the website. The Zeit Online GmbH is a 100 percent subsidiary of the news publisher Gerd Bucerius.

Celera One

The CeleraOne Revenue Engine enables content providers to profit from online subscriptions and digital products. Governed by precise business rules a personalised paywall maximizes conversion and secures existing ad revenue.

Pinio

Pinio is a new way to exchange opinions online. Based on 30-second microvideos rather than text, Pinio elevates online Conversation by connecting people face-to-face.
