U.S. companies have also led on digital storytelling. Huge investments have produced online experiences that reach new heights in journalism, draw new readers, keep them engaged and provide enormous revenue opportunities. Snowfall and the Jockey have been followed by host of other examples.
Media organisations in the U.S. are putting a lot of energy into finding ways to produce these products on a regular basis, training journalists to use new tools and then (perhaps) sell the new products, as a way to enhance their paid content strategy in 2014.
