Newsroom of the Future

Those attending the workshop will learn the fundamentals of audio journalism, how to use still pictures with audio to tell compelling stories and how simple video clips can enhance a newspaper’s website.

This hands on seminar will introduce participants to the skills and techniques of multimedia journalism.  The workshop will show how these techniques are being used by newspapers worldwide to expand their audiences, attract new revenue and position themselves for the future.  

To be successful in the future, media companies will want to publish to multiple platforms.  That means journalists will need different skills to create content for the Internet, mobile devices as well as print.
