The World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) and the International Press Insitute (IPI) have addressed a letter today, 23 April 2013, to the President of Burundi, Pierre Nkurunziza, expressing their concern for proposed amendments which would place severe restrictions upon the press.
