How they did it
Emma Meese, former BBC trainer and manager for Cardiff University's Centre for Community Journalism, decided to primary students (at two schools as of August 2016) how to shoot and edit videos on smartphones and iPads to create content for the new community news service, North Methyr Voice.

Results
"After the successful pilot programme, the training project is set to roll out to more schools in the area, aiming to not only educate children in mobile journalism, but also highlight the benefit of the practice to teachers," according to an 8 August 2016 story in journalism.co.uk.
