Tony Hrnek is the CEO and co-founder of the Swiss Publisher Controlled Ad Network, PPN. The exclusive performance- and targeting network was formed in February 2012 by the leading Swiss media companies Ringier, Tamedia and NZZ.
A major reason for the PPN’s initial success was the ability to analyze publishers’ own audience behavior and trends (big data). Having real-time audience data available when discussing campaigns and budgets with large advertisers has been one of PPN’s most significant advantages when growing sales organically.
