Multicom/Klaus Dombrowski: Interest continues to be focused on lean multimedia procedures.The publishing companies are aware that the frequently used, cost-driven compromise solution of a PDF-based tablet app offers no perspectives. There is a demand for solutions that put experienced print editors in the position also to produce the content for online and template-based tablet apps in a simple, synergetic and media-compatible way, without having to switch to different systems.

Saxotech/Jesper Frank: Newspaper publishers were looking for integrated solutions with the ability to do multi channel publishing in a simple and yet effecient workflow. They were looking for hosted solutions (SaaS). They want to lower their cost of operations and at the same time grow their digital revenue. They were interested in all aspects of audience intelligence and new ways of engaging their digital audience.
