    13.03.2018 – The technotrans Group is able to look back on an extremely successful financial year: the group increased its operating result (EBIT) for 2017 by 79.2 percent to EUR 17.4 million, thus exceeding its own forecast. This represents a margin of 8.5 percent, compared with 6.4 percent for the previous year. Revenue including the acquisitions of 2016 climbed by 35.1 percent to EUR 205.1 million. The focus on organic growth, the use of synergies in the existing portfolio and the targeted acquisitions have shown results: All operating segments posted sales and profit increases over the reporting year. The digital business models in particular contributed to this development. Over the course of the last financial year, they accounted for 71.5 percent of revenues, 87.1 percent of advertising revenues, and 80.0 percent of the adjusted consolidated EBITDA. The combined company will benefit from the companies’ complementary geographic footprints, create extensive synergies, ensure long-term viability, and provide value-oriented solutions, especially in the area of aftermarket services. In the future, the new entity will be a strong business partner to all international web printers. Subject to regulatory approval, the merger is expected to be completed by the middle of 2018.
