    Montréal, July 30, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ – Resolute Forest Products Inc. (NYSE: RFP) (TSX: RFP) today reported net income for the quarter ended June 30, 2020, of $6 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, compared to net income of $25 million, or $0.27 per diluted share, in the same period in 2019. Sales were $612 million in the quarter, a decrease of $143 million from the year-ago period. Two weeks of preparation cumulated in the silencing of the old systems from 2006 and the new drive and control system installed, tested and ready for Sunday production.
